The default one that uses wifi obviously doent work because its crap but while the device is off I can hold vol+ vol- and power and it loads into an installation screen that shows installation failed but i found that it maybe possible to flash the bios this way by putting the update.app onto the sd card.
Basically my Huawei P20 broke this morning and its completely un useable now so i got my old p9 lite out just until i get a new phone but ive forgot my password for it ive tried to hard reset it but it just fails and i cannot connect it to my pc to do it that way any suggestions? The problem is here that UPDATE never ended to 100% and software successfully changed boot.img to the new one but with old system on the phone. Its even worse if you have TWRP recovery installed before update then it will brick the phone too. Allways install stock recovery on current rom before update firmware.
I get software Install Failed at 5% using dload ALWAYS! Even with authorized/allowed firmware. I'm thinking that dload on Huawei p8 lite 2017 is not working at all.
